Main Dashboard

The main dashboard is your home base in Rybbit Analytics, showing all key metrics at a glance.

Top Metrics

  • Unique Users - Different people who visited your site
  • Sessions - Number of visits (30 minutes of inactivity starts a new session)
  • Pageviews - Every page load from every visitor
  • Pages per Session - Average pages viewed per visit
  • Bounce Rate - Percentage of single-page sessions
  • Session Duration - Average time spent per visit

Click a metric to plot it on the main chart.

Time Controls

The date selector offers these presets: Last 30 Minutes, Last 24 Hours, Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Week, This Month, This Year, and All Time. Use Custom range to pick dates in the calendar.

To get any other window counted back from now, type it into the selector's search box, for example 90m, 6h, 60d, or 2w. Minutes and hours go up to a week; days and weeks go up to a year.

Each preset except This Week has a single-key shortcut when you're not typing in a field:

Comparison

Compare the current range against another one. Choose Previous period, Matching weekdays, Same period last year, or Custom range, or No comparison to turn it off. The comparison shows on the chart and in the change figures on the top metrics.

Filters

Combine filters for granular analysis:

  • Device type, browser, OS
  • Country, city
  • Referrer, UTM parameters
  • Custom event properties

A set of filters you use often can be saved as a segment from the Segments tab of the Filter button, then applied to any report with one click.

Main Chart

Shows the selected metric over time. Pick the time bucket (from Min up to Year) next to the chart. Drag across the chart to zoom into that range; double-click to zoom back out.

Annotations

Click Annotate, or click a point on the chart, to pin a note to a moment, such as a launch, a deploy, or an outage. Pins appear along the chart; hover or click one to read it. See Annotations.

Referrers and Channels

The Referrers tab lists the sites that sent you traffic. The Channels tab groups every visit into one of 29 channels based on its referrer and UTM tags: Direct, Organic Search, Paid Search, Organic Social, Paid Social, AI, Paid AI, Email, SMS, Push, Referral, Affiliate, Display, Cross-Network, Organic Video, Paid Video, Organic Shopping, Paid Shopping, Audio, Paid Audio, Influencer, Paid Influencer, News, Content, Productivity, Event, Internal, Paid Unknown, and Unknown.
