Sessions
Analyze individual user sessions
The Sessions tab shows individual visits to your website, including all page views, interactions, and events during each session. On Rybbit Cloud, it needs a Standard plan or higher.
Stats
The band at the top shows Sessions, Avg duration, Pages per session, Bounce rate, Converted (sessions that completed any goal), and With errors.
Session List
Sessions are listed by day, newest first. Each row shows:
- The user, and their location and device
- Entry and exit page - Where the session started and ended, or "single page" if it bounced
- Channel and source
- Pages, events, and duration
- JavaScript errors, if any
- Goals the session completed
Click a page or channel in a row to filter by it. Expand a row to see the session's timeline and counts of custom events, button clicks, copies, form submits, and input changes. Click Watch replay to open the session's replay, when it has one.
Use Sort to order by Started, Duration, Pages, Events, or Errors.
Filtering Sessions
Use the view tabs to show All sessions, or only Identified, Has replay, Converted, Bounced, or With errors sessions.
Set a range for Pageviews, Events, or Duration (for example, at least 3 pages or at most 30 seconds). These combine with the standard dashboard filters:
- Device type, browser, or location
- Referrer or traffic source
- Date range
Click Save as segment to keep the current filters as a segment.
Session Replay
If session replay is enabled, you can watch a recording of any session that has one to see exactly what the user did.
